The Graduate Internship Programme in IP Copyright and Enforcement at CIPC offers unemployed graduates the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience over a 24‑month period. Based at the Sunnyside Office in Pretoria, the program is designed to complement academic studies by providing practical exposure to intellectual property enforcement and public service operations. Interns will receive mentorship, structured training, and a monthly stipend while contributing to CIPC’s mission of protecting intellectual property rights. This initiative supports youth skills development and employment equity, preparing participants for future careers in business, law, technology, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• You will participate in a structured 24‑month internship programme focused on IP copyright and enforcement
• You will gain practical workplace experience aligned with your academic background
• You will contribute to CIPC’s operations in intellectual property enforcement
• You will practice and apply work skills studied during your qualification
• You will comply with internship programme agreements and organizational policies
• You will be available for interviews and assessments as determined by CIPC

Qualifications

• A completed Bachelor of Commerce degree or National Diploma in Business Management
• A completed qualification in International Trade
• A completed qualification in Criminology
• A completed qualification in Information Technology
• A completed qualification in Marketing
• A completed qualification in Supply Chain Management
• South African citizenship with valid ID
• Applicants must be unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 35
• Applicants must not have prior work experience or previous participation in an internship programme
